Bonnie Farley-Lucas is the coordinator for Faculty Development and professor of communication at Southern, where she currently teaches courses in Interpersonal Communication, Gender and Communication, Family Communication, and Conflict Resolution. Dr. Farley-Lucas has published research on management communication, organizational consulting, communication education, children and conflict, gender in the workplace, and work-family processes. She has presented over 40 competitive papers at regional, national, and international conferences. Dr. Farley-Lucas has almost 20 years of experience as an organizational development consultant and trainer, primarily in the areas of team-building, meeting facilitation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal communication skills. E-mail Dr. Farley-Lucas at farleylucab1@southernct.edu. 

Jennifer A. Hudson is the operations and grants manager for Faculty Development and adjunct faculty in English at Southern. Her papers, essays and poetry have appeared in several publications including Nefarious Ballerina, Essence (UK), The International Journal of Learning, Beyond the Rainbow, Dispatch Litareview, Magazine Americana, Journal of Film and Video, Utopian Studies, and Sage Woman. Ms. Hudson has extensive editorial experience with local publishers. Her research interests include women writers and women's writing, the life and work of Charlotte Perkins Gilman, gender studies, utopian studies, popular culture studies, composition, and e-Learning; she has presented her research in these various areas at several regional, national, and international conferences. Ms. Hudson serves as Contributing Editor to the New England Faculty Development Consortium (NEFDC) NEFDC Newsletter and Referree for Currents in Teaching and Learning. E-mail Ms. Hudson at hudsonj1@southernct.edu. 

Michele Salamone is the secretary for Faculty Development at Southern. She has over 11 years' experience in various administrative positions within the field of education. She is an active volunteer for the American Cancer Society. Her passion is the Relay For Life of Hamden/North Haven, where she serves as a committee chairperson and captain of team "Believers."
