Bonnie Farley-Lucas is the coordinator for Faculty Development and professor of communication at Southern, where she currently teaches courses in Interpersonal Communication, Gender and Communication, Family Communication, and Conflict Resolution. Dr. Farley-Lucas has published research on management communication, organizational consulting, communication education, children and conflict, gender in the workplace, and work-family processes. She has presented over 40 competitive papers at regional, national, and international conferences. Dr. Farley-Lucas has almost 20 years of experience as an organizational development consultant and trainer, primarily in the areas of team-building, meeting facilitation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal communication skills. Jennifer A. Hudson is the operations and grants manager for Faculty Development at Southern. She has also taught part-time in the English Department and Honors College. Her papers, articles, fiction and poetry have appeared in The Broken Plate, Eleutheria: The Scottish Poetry Review, The Helix, Nefarious Ballerina, Essence, Dispatch Litareview, The International Journal of Learning, Journal of Bisexuality, Magazine Americana, Journal of Film and Video, Utopian Studies, and Sage Woman. Ms. Hudson's research interests include women writers and women's writing, sexuality and gender studies, utopian studies, popular culture studies, composition, eLearning and multiliteracies. Michele Salamone is the secretary for Faculty Development at Southern. She has over 11 years' experience in various administrative positions within the field of education. She is an active volunteer for the American Cancer Society. Her passion is the Relay For Life of Hamden/North Haven, where she serves as a committee chairperson and captain of team "Believers."
