University Card Office

The University Card Office is responsible for issuing SCSU Hoot Loot ID cards--the university's official multi-purpose identification card, required for all students, faculty, and staff. In addition to being an ID, the card also provides building access, serves as a library card, and functions as a student meal card.

Additionally, the University Card Office administers the optional Hoot Loot campus debit account associated with the ID card. Faculty, staff, and students can deposit money onto the Hoot Loot card and make purchases at various locations on and off campus. Depositors can enjoy the convenience of purchasing from:

  • SCSU bookstore
  • On-campus beverage and snack machines
  • Laundry services (on-campus residents only)
  • Bus trips and other campus activities
  • Fitness Center membership
  • Participating local stores and restaurants
