The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships verifies spring 2018 enrollment for all financial aid recipients. Financial aid awards will be adjusted, reduced or, in some cases, canceled for half-time and less than half-time enrollment. Aid also may be adjusted due to outside resources and scholarships.
February 23 - FAFSA Workshop from 1:30 - 2:30 PM in Engleman (EN) B221. Bring your 2016 W-2s and 2016 tax return. Dependent students also need their parents' 2016 W2s and 2016 tax return.
March 5 - Summer 2018 Financial Aid Application will be available.
March 15 - SCSU's priority date for filing the 2018-2019 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is March 15, 2018.
The FAFSA must be processed by our priority date to be considered on-time.
The Summer Financial Aid Application will be available the first Monday in March.
Candidates for May 2018 graduation who borrowed a Federal Family Educational Loan, Direct Loan (subsidized/unsubsidized) or a Federal Perkins Loan must complete the online exit counseling session(s). Check your SCSU email for further instructions.
May 31 - The deadline for submitting SCSU's Summer 2018 Financial Aid Application is May 7, 2018. The deadline for submitting the 2017-2018 FAFSA for summer 2018 is May 31, 2018. There are no exceptions to these deadlines.
Financial aid recipients who did not maintain satisfactory academic progress (SAP) during the 2017-2018 academic year will be notified in writing by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships after the final grades are posted.
June 22 - Students selected for verification must submit all requested documents no later than June 22, 2018, to have their file reviewed prior to the bill due date.
Continuing and transfer students will receive their 2018-2019 financial aid award notification via their SCSU email account. Be sure to complete all requirements associated with the type(s) of aid you accept.

Check your Banner Web account and complete all outstanding financial aid requirements. Financial aid will not credit to your bill if you have not completed all requirements.
June 29 - The deadline for submitting the Satisfactory Academic Progress Appeal Form and/or Satisfactory Academic Plan.
July 15 - The fall 2018 payment is due on July 15, 2018, and must be paid directly to the Student Accounts Office.
Students who do not have financial aid, or enough financial aid, credited to their bill by the payment due date, July 15, MUST PAY THE BILL OR ENROLL IN THE UNIVERSITY'S PAYMENT PLAN.
