HEALTHY HOLIDAYS!

 

A special offer for Faculty & Staff who contribute to the Faculty & Staff Campaign for Student Success for FY 12-13. 

 

  • Make a $26 or greater contribution by December 10, 2012 and use the SCSU Fitness Center free from 12/10/12-1/11/13!!
  • Stop by the Fitness Center during operating hours to complete a brief form and liability waiver.  We will verify your donation while you begin use of facility!
  • Make an appointment for a FREE equipment orientation with one of our staff.

FACULTY & STAFF MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS

  • Fall or Spring Semester   $100

            - Reduced to $50 at mid-semester point.

  • Summer                               $45

  • Annual                                $225

  • Free 7 day Trial                 $0

        We allow students, faculty & staff to try out the Fitness Center for 7 consecutive days once per semester.  Just come to the Fitness Center with your ID to sign up.

(Full time F/S may elect payroll deduction to pay for annual memberships only.  See below for details) 

 

2012 - 2013 Membership Dates

  • Spring 2013 memberships effective January 8- May 17, 2013
  • Summer 2013 memberships effective May 6-  
  • Fall 2012 memberships effective August 26-January 5, 2013

 

HOW TO JOIN:

Membership includes unlimited access to a variety of group exercise classes.   Fees must be paid with Hoot Loot.

 


  1. CLICK HERE for a membership application.
  2. Add funds to your Hoot Loot card.
  3. Return completed application and Hoot Loot card to Fitness Center during hours of operation. 

If at any time during your FIRST summer membership you choose to convert your semester ($45) membership into an annual membership ($225), you may pay the difference ($180). 

 

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP, PAYING IN FULL:

$225 Hoot Loot

  1. Applicants must read through & complete the following membership application and liability waiver.
  2. Add $225 to your Hoot Loot card (To find out how to add money to your Hoot Loot card visit http://hootloot.southernct.edu).
  3. Bring completed application with funds available to the fitness center during hours of operation. 

 

 

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP, PAYROLL DEDUCTION:

$16 HOOT LOOT down, $8 per pay period

FULL TIME PERMANENT Faculty & Staff may use payroll deduction to pay for 12 month memberships.

     1. Complete membership application below.

     2. Add $16 down payment to Hoot Loot card.

     3. Return completed application and Hoot Loot card to Fitness Center during hours of operation. 

     4. Your membership begins immediately although your deduction may take 1-2 pay periods to show the $8 deduction.

*Membership fees are non refundable                                

Please note: credit card transfers to your Hoot Loot card may take up to an hour to process.  Please schedule card transfers accordingly.

 

 

SINGLE SEMESTER MEMBERSHIP:

$100 with an option to convert to a 12 month membership.

  3. Return completed application and Hoot Loot card to Fitness Center during hours of operation. 

If at any time during your FIRST single semester membership you choose to convert your semester ($100) membership into an annual membership ($225), you may pay the difference ($125).

We encourage you to use this self questionnaire to find out. If you think you are not ready to workout - you should wait to join the SCSU Fitness Center until you have spoken with your physician.

Your safety is our #1 priority, so it is important you are aware of any health conditions that require attention prior to beginning or altering an exercise program.
