GRADUATE INTERNS:
2nd Year Graduate Intern
Alexandra E. Gil: Alex has a BA in Theater with a concentration in stage Management and Theatrical Design. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Recreational Administration and Management. Her Fitness interests include holistic wellness, personal training, and healthy weight loss. Alex helps with the daily operations of running the Fitness Center and promotes fitness through creative and resourceful programming.

1st Year Graduate Intern
Allison Blacker: Allison graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2011 with a BS in Kinesiology. While at Amherst she was an active member of the university's bicycle racing club and still enjoys competitive cycling. Allison has a passion for helping others meet their physical goals and reach their full potential. With special interests in muscle physiology and physical fitness, Allison promotes fitness through programming, leading workout workshops and providing personal fitness programs. She also assists the SCSU Fitness Center with daily operations and strongly encourages healthy and active lifestyles to everyone on campus. With a passion for the human body and education, Allison strives to empower our fitness center members with knowledge so that they may continue to improve throughout their lives.

FITNESS CENTER COORDINATOR
Jessica Scibek, MS, CSCS, ACSM-HFS: Jessica has her BS in Human Movement & Sport Science and a MS in Exercise Science from SCSU. She is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the NSCA and a certified Health Fitness Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine. She oversees the SCSU Fitness Center operations and has a passion for promoting health and encouraging active lifestyles to everyone on campus. She serves on SCSU's IRB committee. Jess is also an experienced group fitness instructor and sometimes teaches Abs, Core, Step, Bootcamp and strength training classes.
