Meal Plans
There are a wide variety of meal plans to fit all different schedules and life styles. Residential Students have until the end of the first week in each semester to change their meal plan. You will be able to modify your meal plans from Monday August 11th 2008 through Friday September 5th 2008 on http://bannerweb.southernct.edu . All residence hall students are required to have a meal plan. The SCSU Hoot Loot Card is required to access these student meal plans. Standing Reservation plans can be purchased at any time.
Meals per Week:
The Platinum, Gold, and Silver Meal Plans are intended to be used in Southern's all-you-care-to-eat Connecticut Dining Hall. However, meals can also be used in food service dining locations with the Anywhere Meals program.
Anywhere Meals:
Each Plan comes with a specified number of weekly Anywhere Meals to be used in any of the food service retail locations. Each time you use an Anywhere Meal, the meal is subtracted from your Anywhere Meal balance. On the Platinum, Gold and Silver plans the Anywhere Meals do not carry over from week to week; they are ll reset to the specified number in accordance to your meal plan every Monday morning. On the Standing Reservations Block Plans, the Anywhere Meals are not reset each week.
Guest Meals:
The Platinum, Gold, and Silver Plans come with a set number of guest meals for the semester. These can be used to treat a friend in Southern's dining community.
