GENERAL event parking

General event parking for GIS Day is at the parking lot of Eli Whitney Technical School. That parking lot is less that 0.2 miles down Fairview Avenue, on the left side, from its intersection with Arch Street and Fitch Street.

Once parked, please wait at the guardhouse by the entrance to the lot. An event van, running in a continuous loop, will pick you up there and drop you off at the Adanti Student Center. Proceed to the third floor, where the events will take place in ASC 306, 308, and Ballroom B.

The van will make its first pick-up at the Eli Whitney lot at 9:00 AM. Its last departure from the Adanti Student Center will be at 4:30 PM.

 

RESERVED PARKING

If you have arrangements for reserved parking (Council members and speakers only), you will park in either the Main Parking Lot or Parking Lot 2. The university police will make the determination as to which lot that will be on the day of the event. The parking attendants in the parking booths will direct you to your parking space when you identify yourself. From the parking lots, follow the walking path on the GIS Day Parking Map to the Adanti Student Center. Proceed to the third floor, where the events will take place in ASC 306, 308, and Ballroom B.
