Exhibit: "New Haven's African-American Heritage"

The exhibit, "New Haven's African-American Heritage: A Bridge to Today," runs February 4 - August 28 at the Ethnic Heritage Center, 270 Fitch Street. The exhibit's run has been extended due to the overwhelming response it has received from the public.

The collection -- which includes books, photos, news clippings, film footage, diaries, letters, trophies, posters, transcripts, records, and even a stained glass window -- documents more than a century of African-American experiences in New Haven.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and 2 to 4 p.m. Sundays. Other times by appointment.

Admission is free. For more information, call (203) 392-6126.
