The Curriculum Committee is charged with the responsibility to "recommend to the Graduate Council operating procedures for the submission of new and revised courses, concentrations, certifications, dual degrees and programs; review proposals for new and revised courses, concentrations, certifications, dual degrees and programs and present recommendations to the Council; recommend curricular ideas and innovations to the Graduate Council." (Revised Rules of Order, 2005)
The Curriculum Committee meets in EN C108 this semester on the thrid friday of each month at 1PM.
The Curriculum Committee evaluates New Program Proposals/Revisions Cover Sheet, New Program Proposals/Revisions, Graduate Course Proposals, Graduate Course Minor Revisions, Course Revision and Proposal Guidelines, Interdisciplinary Program Guidelines, and DHE Guidelines. The deadline for submissions is noted on the Graduate Course Proposal document. The committee has developed the new Dual Degree Policy and is currently developing the policy for Interdisciplinary Programs.
