Wes Moore to Speak

Wes Moore, author of the New York Times bestseller The Other Wes Moore, will speak at Lyman Center on Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m.

In his book, Moore tells the fascinating story of "the other Wes Moore" -- a man who shared his name and a similar personal history but arrived at a starkly different fate.

Compelled by their similar upbringings, Moore wrote The Other Wes Moore in an effort to discover how small choices make big differences.

The Other Wes Moore was this year's selection for the freshman Common Read.
