Granoff Student Health Services  Excused Absences Policy 

The Health Center will NOT routinely provide a medical excuse absence note.

Please refer to the Student Handbook and email your professor about absences from class. A student who is absent from class for less that 3 days for a medical reason, should discuss the issue with his/her professor.

Licensed health center staff will not write excused absence notes for illnesses or problems for which we never provided care. If care was received from an outside health care provider, a request for excused absence should be made to
that provider.
