Andrushko Featured in NOVA Film

Valerie Andrushko, assistant professor of anthropology (right and below, second from right), was featured in a NOVA/National Geographic documentary titled "Ghosts of Machu Picchu," which aired on PBS February 2. The film explores new research on Machu Picchu that has been conducted by several experts including architects, engineers, and archaeologists.
Andrushko is featured in this film for her research on the burials of people who presumably helped to build and maintain Machu Picchu. Her research is also featured in an audio commentary titled "Inca Skull Surgery" on the film's Web site, found here: www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/machupicchu/
The show aired on WNET and WGBH at 8 p.m., while CPTV and WEDH broadcast the show at 9 p.m.
