Cycle of Program Assessments and Reviews

ILS participates in a number of self-study program reviews including national assessments through the American Library Association (ALA) for the Master of Library Science degree program and through the National for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) for the School Library Media Certification program; regional assessment through the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) for the university; and institutional assessments through the Graduate Council for all ILS graduate programs and through Faculty Senate for all ILS undergraduate programs.
