long-term STUDY ABROAD PROGRAMS

Greetings from the Coordinator of Long-Term Study Abroad Programs

On behalf of International Programs, I invite you to engage in the challenges and rewards of long-term study abroad.  We have numerous programs to offer you --many in English but also in other languages -- and full financial aid may apply, if you qualify.  We have SCSU direct-exchange programs in France, Germany, and Scotland, and numerous additional programs via the ISEP Consortium, accessible at www.isep.org.  We also can help you to pre-approve transfer credit through other U.S. colleges and universities.

Your first step is to attend one of our weekly informational sessions, which are posted on this site and in our office, Engleman B129, phone (203) 392-6756.  Once I have the written approval form from your academic adviser, you and I will begin work on your exciting odyssey abroad!  I recommend that you begin to work with us about a year before you plan to travel.

We are devoted to helping you to become a global citizen, and we warmly welcome your participation in long-term study abroad!

Sincerely,

Linda Olson
Coordinator, International Programs
