short-term STUDY ABROAD PROGRAMS

Greetings from the Coordinator of Summer Study Abroad Programs

Welcome to Southern Connecticut State University's Summer Programs for 2008.  This year, Southern offers exciting programs in France, Spain, and Guatemala. Travel with Southern faculty and earn up to six credits while immersed in a foreign culture. In Guatemala, explore the challenges and rewards of delivering health care in a developing nation while you earn credits in Public Health.  In Spain, live in the medieval city of Salamanca, renowned for its literary past, as you study Spanish language, literature, and civilization.  Our program in Paris, the political and cultural capital of France, provides the perfect setting for the study of French cinema, art history, and studio art.
While each of our summer programs for 2008 offers a completely different experience, they all offer the potential to broaden your perspectives beyond the traditional classroom.

I encourage you to explore the world and learn while doing so.  I extend you a warm welcome and hope you take this opportunity to change your life.

Bienvenidos, Bienvenue, Welcome!

Sincerely,

Joseph J. Inguanti, Ph.D.
