ABOUT US

International Student Services is an office under the Student Support Services department.  The office provides information on a wide variety of topics, such as immigration, academic, and personal advisement.  We help students to acclimate to Southern Connecticut State University and the U.S. environment.  The office also provides information that will assure students to comply with the U.S. Government and Department of Homeland Security (DHS).  In addition, the office fosters the multinational and multicultural flavor of the university by promoting friendship and understanding of different cultures.  One of our goals is to minimize the difficulties that International students may experience both upon arrival and later during their stay at Southern Connecticut State University.
