About the Internship

  • B.S degree students are required to complete 3 credits of internship and can complete up to 9 credits at one or more internships.

  • B.A. degree students are not required to complete an internship, but are strongly recommended to do so.

  • Each credit requires 50 hours of actual work (3 credits = 150 hours).

  • The internship can be completed in Connecticut or out of state or out of the country.

  • The internship can be registered for any time -- fall, spring, summer, as well as over the winter intercession.

  • The internship can be spread over more than one company.

  • The student and supervisor arrange the days and hours, as well as the specific duties.

  • Internships should not be undertaken without official registration.
