"How The Elephant Got His Trunk and Other Animal Tales"

This summer, groups of children from all around the city and state will come to Southern to see a FREE children's performance at Lyman Center.  

This show is part of a generous donation from Katherine M. Barrett that has generated the creation of this wonderful arts outreach program.   

The SCSU community is invited to join in the fun and get up to four free tickets for family and friends (while they last).   SEATING AVAILABILITY IS VERY, VERY LIMITED!
 
The Katherine M. Barrett Children's Series - Access to Arts Enrichment.  Theatreworks USA -JIM WEST PRODUCTIONS. Rudyard Kipling's HOW THE ELEPHANT GOT HIS TRUNK & Other Animal Tales.

With the Pink Elephant as your guide, Rudyard Kipling's classic story "How the Elephant Got His Trunk" (also known as "The Elephant's Child") comes to life in this large-scale puppet extravaganza.   Also, colorful rod puppets perform a madcap Barnyard Opera to the accompaniment of Mozart, Strauss, Rossini, and other classical greats! (Grades K-4).
