bachelor of science - secondary education

students in classIn addition to the core courses required of all mathematics majors, the following are required:

  • CSC 152 - Computer Programming I  (CSC 140 and CSC 150 may be substituted, but CSC 152 is recommended.)
  • MAT 320 - Probability
  • MAT 360 - Foundations of Geometry
  • MAT 375 - Abstract Algebra I
  • MAT 405 - Elem. Math from an Advanced Standpoint


Each student selects, with the approval of a departmental adviser, two additional mathematics courses numbered 221 or higher.
