Public Notice of CCNE Accreditation Visit

The Department of Nursing is seeking continued accreditation for its baccalaureate and graduate nursing programs through the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). A team of four site visitors will be on campus from April 16-18, 2012, meeting with the program's community of interest (students, faculty, administrators, alumni, clinical agencies). As a member of the Department's community of interest, we invite you to submit comments to CCNE. We hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to comment upon the nursing program's achievements related to accreditation standards. Information related to the standards for accreditation can be located at http://www.aacn.nche.edu/Accreditation. Written and signed third-party comments will be accepted by CCNE until March 17, 2012.
