Club Registration and Report Process
Fall 2008
All clubs and organizations are required to register each semester in order to be considered an active club or organization. Active clubs have the privelage of reserving space on-campus, advertise in approved posting areas and through univeristy email, and may be eligible for an operating budget as well as to request funding for special events ant travel.
In order to be considered an acitve club or organization and to qualify for an operating budget/funding for special events or travel, all clubs and organizations must first complete the Club and Organization Registration and Report Process by July 18th:
1. Club Registration Application for the Fall 2008 (Due July 18th)
2. Advisor Agreement Form (Due July 18th)
3. Equipment Inventory Form (May be submitted by 9/15 without penalty)
4. Supplies Inventory Form (May be submitted by 9/15 without penalty)
5. End of the Year Report (Due July 18th)
6. Submit minutes from each meeting last year (Fall 07-Spring 08) if you have not already done so.
These forms should be filled out and emailed as attachments to bentleydrod1@southernct.edu and rizzas1@southernct.edu.
Forms that require signatures should be submitted by July 18th. Signatures may be obtained by 9/15 without penalty.
Travel, Speakers, and Special Requests
Clubs who complete the registration process will be eligible also to submit requests for funding to travel to conferences or to host speakers/lecturers on-campus as well as other special requests. The process for requesting funding for conferences, speakers, as well as special requests will remain similar to last year's travel budget request process in which clubs/organizations submitted requests for these separately. This process will be made available on-line by July 22nd.
