Club Registration and Report FALL 2009
All clubs and organizations are required to register each semester in order to be considered an active club or organization. Registered clubs have the privilege of being recognized by the University as an active club or organization, participating in our annual Leadership Retreat Weekend, reserving space on-campus, advertising in approved posting areas and through university e-mail, holding fundraisers, and may be eligible for an operating budget as well as the ability to request funding for special events and travel.
In order to be considered an active club or organization and to qualify for an operating budget/funding, all clubs and organizations must first complete the following.
1. Club Registration Application for Fall 2009 (Due May 20th)
2. End of the Semester Report for the Fall 2009 (Due May 20th)
3. Advisor Agreement Form (Due May 20th. All advisors have received a hard-copy of this form via Interoffice mail. If for some reason they have not, they can print one off of this website and send it to the Office of Student Life, ASC 213).
These forms should be filled out and emailed as attachments to:
Denise Bentley-Drobish, bentleydrod1@southernct.edu
Sal Rizza, rizzas1@southernct.edu
Felicia Valentino, valentinof1@southernct.edu
Travel, Speakers, & Special Requests
Clubs who complete the registration process will be eligible also to submit requests for funding to travel to conferences or to host speakers/lecturers on-campus as well as other special requests. The process for requesting funding for conferences, speakers, etc. involves submitting separate requests for each instance of funding.
Thank you. Please contact the Office of Student Life at 392-5782 if you have further questions.
