Homecoming King and Queen Competition!
A Southern tradition has returned! This year, student's have applied and been selected as candidates to represent Southern Connecticut State Univiersity as Homecoming King and Queen (Juniors and Seniors) or Prince and Princess (Sophomores and Freshmen). Students can vote for their favorite candidate by visiting Collegiate Link (https://southernct.collegiatelink.net/) after October 19th.
On Monday, October 24th at 7pm, candidates will perform their talents and participate in a question and answer portion!

America's Ghosthunter -- Lorraine Warren
America's ghost hunter tells stories of her encounters with the supernatural. A Lyman Center Halloween tradition!
Prices: $10 General Public; $8 Faculty/Staff and SCSU Student Guests (Limit 2); $8 SCSU Student with valid ID (Limit 1). Seating: General admission.

Men's Basketball Blue and White Scrimmage and Pep Rally
Moore Fieldhouse

At 7pm, the Men's Basketball Team will kick off their 2011-2012 season with a intrasquad scrimmage. Immedietely following the game, stay for the annual Homecoming Pep Rally!
Come support the Owls Athletic Teams! Win prizes, have fun, and show your spirit! Homecoming Banner winners to be announced!
10pm-1am (or immedietely following the Pep Rally)
Dance Party in the Adanti Student Center Ballroom
If you're one of the 650 students that enjoyed the Welcome Back Dance in September, be preared for an even bigger and better dance party! Radio personalities from Hot 93.7 will host and DJ.
MUST have a Hoot Loot ID to enter.
No admitance or re-admitance after 11pm.
Arrive early as space is limited.

Enjoy a traditional tailgating feast, play a few games, win prizes, and enjoy the parade as you prepare to cheer on your Southern Owls!

Come cheer our Owls to victory!
At halftime, the winners of the float competition will be announced.

Homecoming 2011 -- Donald Glover with Special Guest

He is most recognized for his role as the jock "Troy" on NBC'S Community, but Donald Glover has also been a writer on the hit show 30 Rock and raps under the moniker "Childish Gambino." He recently performed his own Comedy Central Stand-Up Special and tours the country performing comedy live.
