THE NATIONAL SOCIETY OF LEADERSHIP & SUCCESS 

(Sigma Alpha Pi)

The Society is an organization that helps people discover and achieve their goals. The Society offers life-changing lectures from the nations leading presenters and a community where like-minded success oriented individuals come together and help one another succeed. The Society also serves as a powerful force of good in the greater community by encouraging and organizing action to better the world.

The Society is an organization that helps people discover and achieve their goals. The Society offers life-changing lectures from the nations leading presenters and a community where like-minded success oriented individuals come together and help one another succeed. The Society also serves as a powerful force of good in the greater community by encouraging and organizing action to better the world.

Our nominations have gone out, and if you have received a letter, it is because you are outstanding! You also fit one or more of the following criteria: 
-Senior
-GPA requirement (2.5)
-You have attended the Student Leadership Retreats

The fee of $85.00 is required to register.

There are criteria for being inducted into the Society:

- Participation in three (3) out of Six Leadership Lectures (Dates to follow)

- Attendance at an Orientation Session & Leadership Training Day Program ( We are holding Orientation and LTD as one session, the dates follow)

-Participation in three (3) Success Network Team meetings and posting your individual goals online:

You must post individually on the society website your own personal goals discussed in the meeting. You can do this by going to www.SocietyLeadership.org and signing in, going to the Member's Area and clicking on SNTs. You will then input answers to the questions and click submit.  During your meeting, your recorder will take minutes so that your SNT can keep track of your progress and hold you to the goals you are setting for each meeting.

You don't have to do the requirements in order, so you can sign up and still attend lectures if you are unable to make it to Orientation just yet!

With that said, below are our dates for the rest of the Fall 2012 semester. Please understand that we are working to accommodate as many students as possible, and there will be more dates in the Spring for you to make up requirements. There is no need to email myself or Sal in regards to making up requirements for the Fall Semester, you will have more opportunities in the Spring. Please see the dates below:

Dates for LTD and Orientation:

**October 22nd, 2012 at 6:30pm in the Adanti Student Center Theater

**November 2nd, 2012 at 1pm-4pm  in the Adanti Student Center Theater

**November 6th, 2012 at 1pm-4pm in the Adanti Student Center Theater

 

THE LIVE LECTURES DATES ARE AS FOLLOWS, THERE WILL ALSO BE MORE RE-BROADCAST DATES:

**Hilary Duff: Oct. 16, 2012 7pm: ASC Theater

**Hill Harper: Oct. 30, 2012 7pm: EN C112

 

REBROADCAST DATES ARE AS FOLLOWS: 

**November 5th, 2012 5pm to 9pm in the ASC Theater: We will be showing all three broadcasts in a row: 5 - 6:30 Vernice Armour, 6:30 -7:45 Hilary Duff, 7:45 -9pm Hill Harper. Come in to see who you have missed, you do not have to stay for all three, but you are welcome to!

**November 12th, 2012 1pm -2pm in ASC Theater Hill Harper

**November 13th, 2012 1pm -2pm in ASC Theater Vernice Armour

EXCELLENCE AWARD CANDIDATES - Please make sure you attend six (6) Leadership Lectures, six (6) SNT Meetings, and complete five (5) hours of community service. Community Service Forms should be submitted to the office of Student Life. The Form can be found HERE!
