The purpose of this organization shall be to increase educational enrichment and provide a culturally active environment for the Southern Connecticut State University community through the sponsorship of performing arts programming. In addition, the organization shall seek to provide a learning tool for those students wishing to gain experience in, and knowledge of, performing arts programming. The organizations efforts and programming shall be concentrated in the fine arts - dance, theater, and music. It may, to a limited degree, underwrite the appearance of performers who can offer a talent or expertise pertinent to the fine arts. Performing arts programming sponsored by the Cultural Affairs Club shall be held in The John Lyman Center for the Performing Arts. Meeting held at 1pm in the Lyman Center.
