The Southern Connecticut State University Paintball Club consists of paintball enthusiasts from every skill level (including first time players). Our organization is open to all SCSU Students, NO CUTS! We pride our organization not only as professional, but as a family. We are united under the common interest of paintball.
Our club consists of competitive players who are interested in active NCPA (National Collegiate Paintball Association) and are always willing to help new members interested in a professional style of paintball.
For those students who are interested in playing paintball for the first time, we currently offer recreational opportunities to play paintball locally.
Another, key point to make is we have members who both play woodsball and speed ball which are both intense but incredibly different styles of play!
The Southern Connecticut Paintball team can be found practicing often at Hogan's Alley Paintball in Meriden, Connecticut; and Matt's Outback Paintball in Coventry, CT or Xtreme Paintball in East Windsor, CT! (The scheduled practice time is on a monthly basis based on the needs of current team members!)
History: We were first granted full University recognition status on December 3, 2008. Before then, our initial team practiced every Sunday since the first SCSU Paintball interest meeting (August 2008). We are learning the strengths and weaknesses of our game, how to improve and work together.
