Beta Mu Sigma Fraternity
Beta Mu Sigma was founded at Southern Connecticut State University as a local fraternity in 1959. For several years Beta thrived through Southern's campus. In 1989, Beta decided to become a colony of Sigma Pi. Over time Sigma Pi and Beta Mu Sigma's traditions still existed and thrived through. In 1998, Sigma Pi slowly left campus, and in 2000, the rebirth of Beta Mu Sigma took place.
Beta from that point on has succeeded in many things throughout the school. As Greek Life has changed so has Beta. In the 2006, Beta launched it's groundbreaking event "Jail N' Bail" in association with Special Olympics CT. The event sent shockwaves and started a huge wave of events throughout the state. Many other schools soon followed.
Brothers thrive themselves off principles that every man, of every backing should follow. Brothers continue to compete for success, for not only the organization, but themselves.
