Southern's Future Teachers Organization

Southern’s Future Teachers Organization (SFTO) is a club at SCSU for all education majors.  This club works collaboratively with other Connecticut universities to gain experience in the teaching world.  Each semester we hold several activities on and off campus to get to know each other as well as work with students of all ages to develop your skills as an educator.  If you join SFTO, you are guaranteed to form great friendships, as well as gain the knowledge you need to help you succeed as a future teacher.
