Student Arts League

The purpose of the Student Arts League is to provide exhibition outlets and creative pursuits for student artists, craftsmen, and students of other academic disciplines of Southern Connecticut State University. Above all, we aim to further develop the creative potential of each individual, as well as reach out to the student body about the current trends and activities in the arts. The Student Arts League has a history of sponsoring Visiting Artists who inspire dialog about relevant methods and preparedness for a future in the arts. We host exhibitions of artwork and events every semester showcasing related media as strong supportive service for our members outside the context of the classroom. Annually, this organization has provided its members with the opportunity to participate in field trips that travel to sites relevant in today’s art world.
