Best Buddies is an organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Best Buddies matches people of all ages but our chapter at southern specifically focuses on matching Southern students with students and community members associated with Chapel Haven, a school for those with intellectual disabilities that teaches life skills and offers other various classes. We are one of the largest chapters in the country, with over 75 matches and we hope to grow even more. There are so many great people involved in best buddies and you will instantly make new and lasting friendships. You will not find the sense of community and acceptance in many other places.
