SCSU presents the 2nd annual
SOUTHERN DAY
OF SERVICE

in collaboration with the
New Haven Police Department
The Southern Day of Service is a day designated annually for Southern students, faculty and staff to gather in the local community and work side by side on a service project that benefits humanity. Participating in a Day of Service helps to foster friendship, promote service, and leave a positive imprint on our community.
October 25th, 2008
9:00AM -3:00PM
Transportation will be provided. Participants will meet in Connecticut Hall on the day of the event.
Make sure to wear clothes you don't
mind getting dirty or ruined. Sneakers
are appropriate for footwear.
Teams will be formed and dispersed to 10 different locations throughout the city. Each area has its own service needs and you could be doing anything from painting to picking up litter.
