Southern Connecticut State University is responsible for maintaining a work environment free from harassment and discrimination. The university is further responsible for preventing and addressing complaints of conduct that rise to the level of unlawful harassment/discrimination based on state and federal laws. This includes, but is not limited to, harassing or discriminating behaviors based on race, color, religious creed, sex, national origin, age disability, and sexual orientation.

To meet our obligations, we offer training to employees and residential advisers in several categories, such as sexual harassment prevention, diversity in the workplace, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Staff may register online for these training sessions as they become available.
