Change of Address

Matriculated students will receive their Owl Choice Card Debit MasterCard via U.S. mail. Your Owl Choice Card is the key to selecting your refund preference for any student account refunds. Your Owl Choice Card will be mailed to your mailing address on file with the University. If your address is incorrect it will delay your receipt of your Owl Choice Card and could delay your next refund.

International students: the Owl Choice Card cannot be mailed to an address outside of the United States. Please provide U.S. mailing address to the University and contact the University Card Office to ensure your Owl Choice Card is mailed to you.

Verify Your Mailing Address

You can verify your mailing address that the University has on file by checking your account via BannerWeb.

1. Log in to MySCSU
2. Click on Banner Web under SCSU Links.
3. Click on Student Services.
4. Click on the Update Mailing Address link.
5. Verify the address listed on Mailing (Permanent) is correct.

If the Mailing (Permanent) address is not correct, please follow the steps below to update your mailing address.

Update Your Mailing Address

You should update your address with both the University Registrar's Office and the U.S. Postal Service.
You can update your mailing address that the University has on file by checking your account via BannerWeb.

1. Log in to MySCSU
2. Click on Banner Web under SCSU Links.
3. Click on Student Services.
4. Click on the Verify or Update Your Address link.
5. If the current address listed under Mailing (Permanent) is incorrect, click on the Current next to address.

6. You are required to update the following fields (underlined in red on the image below): Address Line 1, City, State or Province, ZIP or Postal Code, Area Code and Phone Number.

7. After entering the required data and any additional optional data, click the Submit button.

Your Mailing (Permanent) address has been updated.

Was Your Owl Choice Card Already Shipped to the Wrong Address?

If you received an email from Higher One notifying you that your Owl Choice Card was shipped to an incorrect address, please update your address with the Registrar's Office and the U.S. Postal Service (as described above) and contact the University Card Office at 203-392-7077 to request a new Owl Choice Card be shipped to your correct address.

Don't delay in updating your address. Your Owl Choice Card is required to select your refund preference. If you don't have your Owl Choice Card it could delay any refunds you may be entitled to.
