MySCSU is the university portal that provides secure and private access to calendar, chat rooms, bulletin boards, course schedules, transcripts, registration, financial aid, degree evaluation, and much more. MySCSU can be accessed from anywhere in the world using a valid web browser and an internet connection.

• MySCSU provides a Web-based calendar application that you can use to create and manage personal calendars, access course calendars to view information added by course instructors, and access calendars for any online groups that you have joined. To access the calendar, click the calendar icon that appears in the application toolbar.
• MySCSU provides an application that allows individuals at your institution to request the creation of online groups and maintain homepages for these groups containing resources like photo albums, Internet links, news articles, and applications like message boards, chat rooms, and calendars. To access the Groups application, click the groups icon that appears in the application toolbar.
• MySCSU provides access to administrative services such as check grades, register for classes, change the personal information that your institution maintains about you, etc. To access the administrative services that your institution has implemented, use the Academic Services channel.

In addition, your institution may have given you permission to perform a number of administrative functions in the system including:

• Creating and sending targeted announcements
• Creating and maintaining content on default system pages or channels
• Creating new web pages that can be accessed through the system or even through any of your institution's public websites

For more information on accessing or using any of the system applications or any of the administrative tools for which you are authorized, refer to the folders in the Help Index Menu or through the help icons available in each application.

Finally, MySCSU also allows you to customize your user layout to:

• Add, remove, and rearrange tabs
• Add, remove, and rearrange channels

Every time you log in to MySCSU, your tab and channel preferences are preserved. For more information on how to customize your user layout, click open the Portal folder located in the Help Index Menu and click through the topics that it provides.
