>>> Announcing Print Anywhere/Mobile Printing Service <<<

With Print Anywhere, users no longer need to log into lab computers to print to lab printers.  Instead, users can now print to SCSU Mobile Print Service from personal computers and collect printouts from any lab printers on the campus.  Jobs sent to the mobile print service will stay in the queue for 24 hours within which time, the user can simply visit the nearest lab print station, swipe his/her hoot loot card and collect the printout.   To use Print Anywhere, the user must install a plug-in on his/her personal computer.   The plug-in can be downloaded at SCSU Share. Print Anywhere is available for both Windows and Mac OS.   To learn more, visit the Printing web site.

>>> LMS Requirement Gathering Underway <<<

The Connecticut State University System is in the process of selecting a Learning Management System.  To ensure that all faculty members have the opportunity to participate in the process, the ITS at the System Office has created a site to collect ideas and suggestions.   All Southern faculty members may access the site via MySCSU.   The site will remain open until end of February.
