Software Downloads

SCSU supports Windows XP for PCs, the latest OS X for Mac, and Red Hat for Linux machines.  SCSU does not support Windows Vista.  However, most IT services should work sufficiently on PCs that run Windows Vista. As a member of SCSU community, you are entitled to free copies of McAfee anti-virus software and Microsoft Office. Go to SCSU Share to download the application.

Recommended Hardware

Information Technology does not support personally-owned computers.  OIT staff will not remove any viruses, spam, spy-ware, Trojans, or worms from non-SCSU computers.  To obtain technical support for your computer, contact the computer manufacturer or some other computer repair facility.
