Past President's Welcome
It is my extreme pleasure to welcome you to the Connecticut Association
on Higher Education and Disability (CT AHEAD) website.
CT AHEAD is an association of Disability Service Providers from
Connecticut colleges. It includes such items as a listing of members,
contact people for colleges in Connecticut, CT AHEAD Guidelines and
links to sites of interest. The purpose of this website is to inform
students, parents and professionals about disability services provided
by Connecticut colleges. It will also contain general information and
links for Connecticut colleges.
We anticipate within the next year adding more and more information from the membership that will be of interest to all visitors to this site. It is our hope that this website is utilized by students with disabilities, their parents, and other professionals as a resource to help with the daunting search of finding the appropriate college for students with disabilities.
Construction of this website began June, 2003 by Steve Robillard who has graciously volunteered his time constructing this website. If you have any suggestions or comments about what you would like to see on this site please e-mail Steve at srpsco@sr-ps.com. I hope that it will be a helpful and enjoyable experience to log on to us. We will do our best to ensure that the admission process is clarified as much as possible and that as you become familiar with us, you will consider us a valuable resource in your search for the right university, college or community college.
