Undergraduate students are invited to present papers at the Spring NES/MAA Meeting on topics in mathematics, statistics, or computer science. The presentations will be approximately 15 minutes in length, on expository work, research projects, problems from mathematics periodicals, employment experiences, or summer research experiences.
Student presenters will receive a one-year MAA membership, which includes an MAA journal. The registration fee and the cost of meals will be waived for one student presenter per paper.
This year, the Spring Meeting will be held at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island, on June 4-5, 2004.
Interested students should e-mail an abstract by Friday, May 14 to:

Abstracts should be typed either in Microsoft word or just plan text (no Latex or other typesetting programs) and should be limited to 80 words. Make sure the abstract is appropriate for a general mathematical audience. Avoid using too many mathematical symbols; in most cases it should be possible to avoid symbols altogether. Along with the abstract, please send your e-mail address and the name of a faculty sponsor who will assist in the preparation of the talk.
