Undergraduate students (and recent graduates) are invited to present
papers at the Spring 2006 NES/MAA Meeting
on topics in mathematics, statistics, or computer science. The presentations
will be 10-15 minutes in length, on expository work, research projects, problems
from mathematics periodicals, employment experiences, or summer research
experiences.
Each student presenter will receive a one-year MAA membership, which includes an MAA journal.. The registration fee and the cost of meals will be waived for one student presenter per paper.
This year the Spring Meeting will be held at Boston University in Boston, MA, June 2-3, 2006. For more information on the meeting itself, please go to http://math.bu.edu/MAA_meeting .
Interested students should send an abstract by e-mail by Friday, May 12, 2006, to one of the following:

The abstract submission should include the name of the presenter(s), an e-mail address, and the name and e-mail address of a faculty sponsor who will assist in the preparation of the talk. Abstracts should be submitted in the body of an e-mail or as a MS-Word attachment to an e-mail. Please contact Dr. Kovac or Dr. Stanish if you need to submit in some other format.
Student presenters must also submit their meeting registration so that it is received at Boston University by Friday, May 19.
