DC, Inventions, and Twilight, oh my!
February is a big month for ProCon, and even a bigger month for Southern students! There’s so many fun activities coming up I don’t even know where to start.
If you are planning on going on the DC trip: We will be leaving at 8am on Friday, February 13. It’s early, but we can sleep on the bus. We will be meeting at Lot 2, which is Pelz Gym and Jennings Hall. If you need to leave your car there for the weekend, please park it in the parking lot and your name will be on a registry list so you’ll be fine. If you’re wondering, Wall-E will be one of the movies so we’re good to go!
Black Inventions Exhibit is right right around the corner! It’s this Thursday, February 12! Join us in Conn Hall from 10am-6pm! You know you want to!
aaaaaaaand we are very excited to announce that the movie that will be playing Tuesday, February 17 is TWILIGHT! Come to this sparkling event with our dear friend Edward Cullen.
Celebrating Black History Month
February is Black History Month and ProCon wants to celebrate it with all Southern Students! On Thursday, February 12 there will be an exhibit in Connecticut Hall showcasing some famous inventions by black inventors. The cell phone, traffic light, egg beater, pencil sharpener, elevator, and the super soaker are just a few examples of the many inventions that black inventors have created. The showcase will run from 10am – 6pm in Connecticut Hall and is sure to be an interesting experience for all!
