Minutes for March 4, 2009

2. Meeting began at 2:20pm
3. Trip Proposals

1. Anthropology Club-$3022.18 was allocated to send students to the 78^th Annual Meeting of the American Association of Physical Anthropologists in Chicago, Illinois. The board voted 4-0.

1. Muslim Student Association- $760 was allocated to pay for students to attend the Muslim Student Association Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The board voted 4-0.
2. Alpha Kappa Delta Eta Chapter- $1050 was allocated to pay for students to attend the Annual Meeting of the Eastern Sociological Society in Baltimore, Maryland. The board voted 4-0.
3. Geography Club- $4450 was allocated to pay for students to attend the annual Meeting of the Association of American Geographers in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Board voted 4-0.
4. OlAS- $830 was allocated to pay for students to attend the 7^th annual New England Latino Student Leadership Conference at Eastern CT State University. NOTE: Hotels will not be covered for instate conferences. The Board voted 4-0.
5. Prism Club- $330 was allocated to pay for students to attend the XVI True Colors Conference at the University of Connecticut. NOTE: Hotel cost will not be covered. According to policy, SGA does not pay for hotels for hotels for in state conferences. The board voted 4-0.

1. Delta Phi Epsilon- NOT approved due to the fact that it is a fundraiser that is a ticketed event and not open to all students. The only funding the may be allocated is from the loan fund.
