What to Bring to Orientation
As you prepare for your first few days on your new campus, we wanted to take this opportunity to provide you with some very important information.
Arrival and Parking
Students who are staying overnight - We have encouraged all of you to stay overnight with us, and those who have elected to stay overnight should arrive at West Campus Residence Complex between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. for overnight check-in. There is ample parking for students (and parents) in the parking lots surrounding West Campus Residence Complex and in the West Campus Parking Garage. Following check-in, students and their families will be directed to the Adanti Student Center.
Students not staying overnight - All students and their families will be treated to coffee and pastries as they sign in on the first floor in the Adanti Student Center from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Parking is available in lot 12 located off of Crescent Street. Please visit the Directions to Campus page for directions and additional parking information.
What to bring
All students should bring a backpack to carry orientation materials, pens, a notebook, casual and comfortable clothes, a sweater or jacket for cool evenings and air-conditioned buildings, rain gear in case of inclement weather, a very comfortable pair of walking shoes, an open mind, a warm smile, and Southern spirit!
Students who are staying overnight should also bring an alarm clock, sheets, a blanket, a pillow, a towel, and personal toiletries.
