Southern is committed to students being enrolled in the appropriate level English, math, and foreign language courses which is why we strongly believe in a placement process that helps us determine the best courses to meet your individual skill level while also challenging you to excel. The placement process is different for incoming freshmen, incoming transfer students, and current students. Please click on the link that pertains to you for more information. WHERE ARE placements HELD?
The World Language placement is offered online. The math placement is held on campus. Students challenging English placement meet with a facutly member from the English Placement Committee during Orientation.
