Art of the Oral Tradition

Welcome to our innovative graduate program in the art of the oral tradition at Southern Connecticut State University. Our program is offered in the School of Communication, Information and Library Science which is fully accredited by the American Library Association and New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

This prestigious program attracts students and teachers from all corners of the continent. Internationally renowned artists visit and live on the campus during many of our course offerings. This affords a truly enhanced learning experience.

Courses are offered over weekends and during holidays and summer sessions so students do not have to interrupt their current work schedules and social commitments.
