, CT State Improvement Grant, Office of Special Education Programs, Washington, DC. 2001 – present. Co-chair of grant program with Dr. Vincent Breslin, School of Arts and Sciences. Grant goal is to develop a system to unify and integrate all university requirements at SCSU with education courses required for the Collaborative Elementary / Special Education Teacher Certification Program. 2001 – present. $ 350,000.

SCSU Curriculum Grant: with Dr. Robert Piazza, 2000-2001, to develop phonemic awareness materials for middle to secondary readers. $5000

SCSU Curriculum Grant: with Dr. Robert Piazza, 1999 – 2000, to develop a practice study guide for the Special Education Praxis II exam required of all candidates for special education certification in CT. $ 5000
