Back to Modules Index

Overview
Database software is used to store, manage, search, and sort large amounts of information.  One form of a database is an electronic address book that would allow you to easily find someone's address by searching for everyone in a database with a particular last name.  Databases range from the most basic, like the address book example, to the very advanced, such as a database for storing customer information, orders, etc. for a store or company.  This modules focuses on the basics of what a database is and how to create a basic database for storing information.
