Overview
Digital imaging is a general term that refers to the
capturing of an image and then the process of manipulating that
image to meet your needs. The most common ways for images
to be captured is by using a scanner or digital camera to acquire
an image. The manipulation of that image, such as resizing
or cropping the image, is done with some type of image editing software,
such as PhotoShop LE, Paint Shop Pro, on any one of a host of other
pieces of software that work with digital images.
