Overview

Presentation software is used to create and display an electronic presentation.  The most common software used for this is Microsoft's PowerPoint.  This type of software allows you to combine text,images, multimedia files, and other type of media into a presentation or interactive multimedia file.  While this software is most commonly known for creating electronic presentations such as you would use to present a series of slides to a group of people, it can also be used to create interactive presentations by using hyperlinks, or various forms of multimedia, such as video clips.
