An important objective of the Unification of Teacher Preparatory
Programs grant is to communicate the results of our efforts to the
CITE committee, the Connecticut State Department of Education and
to schools and universities interested in unifying teacher preparatory
programs.

Common Ground in the Teacher Preparation Programs at a Large Public
University and a Small Private College.
How can institutions of higher education structure faculty collaborations
to improve programs of teacher preparation? This session will
illustrate the process of change that has occurred within a small
private college and a large public university as each crossed
institutional barriers to erect bridges between schools of education
and the liberal arts and sciences and within programs of education
themselves.
