In this paper you will use Anthony Westonıs Rulebook For Arguments to evaluate the relative merits of pages 185-220 in Bernard Goldbergıs Bias and pages 192-224 in Eric Altermanıs What Liberal Media?
Your thesis should address the following question: Which author would Weston say presents the better argument(s)?
Analyze both the strengths and weaknesses of the two authorsı arguments. Use rules from Weston to structure your analysis, about 6 or 7 rules for each author (they need not be the same rules). Show how the authors either break or follow the rules you cite. Since you will be using at least three different books, be sure you know how to cite and attribute quotes correctly.
